We will run a conflicts check within 2-3 business days from the date you submit this form. If a conflict is found, we will do our best to refer you to another lawyer or legal service provider. If a conflict is not found, we will notify you with further instructions for submitting additional details about your issue(s) prior to our scheduling an Initial Consultation.
Please be aware that as of January 1, 2024, the Law of Ontario requires all lawyers to verify the identity of all clients using virtual services through a Law Society approved verification system. This means that you will need to provide photos of yourself and your government issued photo ID through our secure system. This link will be provided to you following the conflicts search. We cannot start working with you until the ID verification step is completed. We are required to do this for all cases, including Initial Consultations.

Points of Law does NOT represent you in any legal matter unless and until such time as both a Points of Law lawyer and you have completed and signed a Points of Law Legal Service Agreement which identifies the details of the specific services to be provided by Points of Law in a legal matter.
