LINDA SMITH is the founder and principal lawyer of Points of Law, a boutique unbundled legal service firm in Ontario. She has over 30 years of experience in a range of practice areas.

Linda applies a practical, no-nonsense approach, to family law matters. Drawing on her knowledge and decades of experience, she can guide self-representing litigants through the difficult challenges that family law often presents.

Linda recently completed advanced training in immigration matters. By completing the Graduate Program in Immigration and Citizenship Law at Queen’s University Law School, she has solidified her knowledge of immigration matters. As a lawyer, Linda is uniquely positioned to offer a comprehensive range of services beyond what an immigration consultant is legally able to provide.

Linda’s substantial experience in assisting small businesses, start-ups, and not-for-profit organizations is rooted in her previous role as Acting Director and Supervising Lawyer of the Business Law Clinic at Queen’s University Law School. She understands the ups and downs that small businesses and start-ups face.
